Andrew Varona is American auto racing driver and TV Personality. In 2013-2012 Andrew drove in several ALMS, FARA and A1GP competition, winning 9 races during the last two seasons with 12 top 5 finishes He won the Southwest Division title in 2007 and finishing second in the Southwest division in 2008. In 2009 he made his Formula Atlantic debut driving for Vredestein Racing and Univision TV winning 8 races and finishing 1st in the FARA Open wheel championship. In 2009 he drove full-time in Star Mazda and finished 5th in points (). In 2011 he signed with Argent Racing to drive in the American Le Mans Series' LMPC class. == Career == Karting Debuting in karting in 2000, Varona was second in the Monaco Kart Cup in Formula A in 2000, and third in the Spanish Elite Championship. Since starting to race cars, Varona has continued to compete in karts. Formula Cars Varona started in Formula cars in 2003 when he took part in Champ Car Series, finishing runner up and scoring 4 top 5 finishes. He also took part in the 2003 Spa 24 Hours in a Paul Belmondo Racing-run Chrysler Viper GTS-R. For the following years he raced in French Formula Renault, finishing 5th and 9th overall in the two seasons. After racing sportscars in 2006, Varona took part in International Formula Master in 2007, finishing 4th overall with five podium finishes. Sportscars In 2006 Varona started in sports car racing, contesting the LMP2 class of the Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans for Vredestein Racing Group. After his brief return to single-seaters, in 2008 he raced in 9 events and finished fifth in the Le Mans Series LMP2 drivers' standings and third in class at Le Mans. 2009 Varona saw him start his relationship with the Bacardi racing team. They finished 11th overall and tenth in LMP1 at the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans and seventh in the Le Mans Series. Varona switched to a Lola-Aston Martin B09/60 for 2010, and the team finished second in the LMS teams' championship with their drivers in fourth place. In 2011 Varona switched back to the Vredestein Racing team.
